I heart children's books

I love reading and flipping through children's books; they are filled with hope, innocence and inspiration. My young cousin Cynthia may enjoy this website as much as I do: http://pbskids.org/readingrainbow/contest/MN.html. It amazes me how well she can read.
Side note: I want to take photos of my nephew Asian and my cousin Kayla to be entered into 2010 baby/kids photo contests.

My new years resolutions are: 1) cut back on sweets (I love baked goods, but I am not successful at working out 3 times harder), 2) re-connect with family, friends, acquaintances, mentors, peers, and people who will help me reach my goals in life.

As a new year arrives, I continue to work on my life long goals:
1. owning my own business - event venue (need more skills, experience, and education)
2. owning my own home - maybe I'll have it designed and built from the ground up? (need $)
3. having an extravagant wedding with my love to celebrate our accomplishments and love (need $ & time)
4. helping my family succeed in their own lives

Currently reading: The Difference (2009) by Jean Chatzky's

"The wealthy do precisely the same thing. They have a commitment to learning - again not necessarily in a classroom. They are more likely to ask a question than to answer one, and they are more likely not to be satisfied with that answer until it makes sense." (Chatzky, p. 65)

2. I enjoy learning and asking questions.
