My future phone...

I want Motorola or LG to manufacture a phone that has both capabilities featured in the Motoroal Cliq (applications) and LG Projector cell phone:

I heart children's books

I love reading and flipping through children's books; they are filled with hope, innocence and inspiration. My young cousin Cynthia may enjoy this website as much as I do: http://pbskids.org/readingrainbow/contest/MN.html. It amazes me how well she can read.
Side note: I want to take photos of my nephew Asian and my cousin Kayla to be entered into 2010 baby/kids photo contests.

My new years resolutions are: 1) cut back on sweets (I love baked goods, but I am not successful at working out 3 times harder), 2) re-connect with family, friends, acquaintances, mentors, peers, and people who will help me reach my goals in life.

As a new year arrives, I continue to work on my life long goals:
1. owning my own business - event venue (need more skills, experience, and education)
2. owning my own home - maybe I'll have it designed and built from the ground up? (need $)
3. having an extravagant wedding with my love to celebrate our accomplishments and love (need $ & time)
4. helping my family succeed in their own lives

Currently reading: The Difference (2009) by Jean Chatzky's

"The wealthy do precisely the same thing. They have a commitment to learning - again not necessarily in a classroom. They are more likely to ask a question than to answer one, and they are more likely not to be satisfied with that answer until it makes sense." (Chatzky, p. 65)

2. I enjoy learning and asking questions.

The adrenaline rush, the excitment of taking out an opponent, the shouting and team work- I love playing paintball!

Saw Avatar- BEAUTIFUL movie.

What am I good at?

I want to feel valuable, important and make meaning in my life. I like to plan and I like to be informed on matters that impact me, my family, my Love, my work, and my goals in life. I am starting this blog to help myself identify what I am good at. I hope this blog will help inform me and help me transform what I am good at, into a working career for myself. This blog will also serve as a storing place for ideas and inspirations.

I constantly find myself seeking new challenges and eager to learn everyday. I enjoy change at a moderate pace and strive for change when I am bored. I am a dreamer, optimistic, and determined to accomplish my goals in life. I like to see hope in life and smiles filled with happiness, though its been lacking these day- seems like the blame is on the economy, but I think it has to do with human relationships (respect, manners, politeness).

I often feel my goals hold me back as they can be thought of as only wants and desires. My Love is Buddhist and tries to teach me to eliminate such horrible desires in life; I am slowly learning. I find myself disappointed when life doubts my optimism; most of the time I don't know how when or where, but I believe I'll make things happen.

What am I good at?
1. I am good at making things happen.

$110 me
Indoor paintball at Air Assault, super fun! Felt good to play again. Here's what I learned today: 1- wrap around a player instead of snap shooting when it's one one one, 2- run to bunker first and stay low, 3- no coaching at open play.

$12 love
Dinner at Pagada. Love ordered crunchy seafood pan fried noodles, it was tasty and crunchy. I ordered a Korean rice pot with chicken and kimchee, no good because love bit into a piece of metal! We did not have to pay for the rice pot, hope they figured out why there was metal in our meal. I'll have to get authentic bim bi bop.

Just saw the commercial for NINJA ASSASSIN with BI Rain from Korea!! He's a great eye candy, rip and looking grown up.

Love just mention something about Street Paintball, I'm very interested. Told him to call Gary tomorrow to talk about it.

Didn't watch the movie last night, maybe will watch tonight. Currently watching football, no particular team to root for today since the Vikings had a bye.

I need to desperately work out instead of splurging on food and eating out. Have to get back on schedule to cooking at home. Currently craving munchies...Good night!

18+9 me
Went to Snow Board Expo- poorly put together! Paid $18 for tickets and $9 for parking. All I got out of it was two free lift tickets to Buck Hill. I did enter in several drawings for tickets, doubt I'll win.

9+9+24 love
Went clay disk shooting, FUN! My shoulder was not prepared and did not like the after shock. I got one disk out of twelve, I'm definitely going back for more. Future reference, purchase bullets ahead of time, it's less expensive.

Free
Attended love's (my boyfriend) paintball practice, only got to play two games. Poorly put together practice, got nothing out of it. I ran up to the 50 and got shot out. It's not easy getting a new crowd of paintball guys to respect me because of my size and that I am a female. I think love will continue to seek for a new team.

BWWs after paintball while I waited for team meeting to be over. I played a cool game on the touch screen games, idk what to call them. Also watched some college football, MN was losing last I saw.

10 love
Took my nephew and niece to Eagles Nest Playground, it's a fun place. It was hard crawling around, what a work out.

Dinner at an authentic Mexican restaurant. Fresh red salsa dip with chips was excellent. Mole was bitter and good (I like my mole sweet). Enchilada was the best I've had with spicy green salsa sauce. Tamale was ok, liked that it was wrapped in banana leaf.

Goodnight, going to watch Ghost of Girlfriend's Past.
