2014 Wedding Accomplished. 2014 Goals

2014 started out well with our wedding. Wedding was successful, a few kinks but overall perfect. Lots of guests from WI and FL. Words can not express how thankful and loved we feel for the wonderful people surrounding and supporting us. We shed tears as we opened gifts from family and friends. They gave us way too much and we feel like we have not done enough for them. We cherish our loved ones as they all have a part in our life. Our goals this year: 1. TRAVEL! Foodie and pubs and seeing new places/things. NY, Orlando, Portland, San Diego (and Hawaii in Jan 2015). 2. Watch lots and lots of movies! 3. Attend carnivals/county fairs. 4. Remodeling our kitchen. On a sad note, I lost a college aquaintance to stroke. She was a kind hearted, smart, beautiful woman. Words can not express how she has touched so many classmate's lives. May we live well with our health and find happiness in all aspect of life. Never take life for granted and take a chance at what we want or don't know that we want in life :). Also never say never. I said I'd never play tennis, well here I am loving the sport. I said I'd never be a supervisor, where here I am managing staff. Life is the choices we make and the opportunities we take.

2013 Recap

2013 was wedding planning year. Wedding planning was a part-time job gathering ideas, finding vendors and materials. Decisions all made in due time. There was no time or money to travel in 2013. 2013 was all work, very little play. Snow was plenty, but the cold stopped us from going skiing/snowboarding. What a drag this cold has been. Didn't do much to the house in 2013. Love started on parkour, we both continued archery and focused on our health. Good thing to 2013 was I got a promotion and count down to our wedding in 2014. Almost forgot, my friend's baby Ian was born 11/24/13! OMG I forgot I went to Hawaii with my good friend DC!!! It was warm weather and beautiful skies all 5 days. I'm going back there in a coupld of years. Loved it but will not live there - love the city life.

2013 Goals

2013 has started with lots of excitement in planning for the future! On new years day my fiance and I decided on our wedding date! Save the date will be announced in the coming months. We also spoke with our parents and got their approval on our wedding plans. So much to look forward to this year and next year.

Additionally, 2013 will be filled with fun filled trips. Going to Hawaii in 01/2013 and Wisconsin as usual to visit family.

Wow in one year I will no longer hold my 4 letter last name. Instead I will be Mrs. 11 letter last name.

2012 Recap

2012 was not the end of the world YAH!

2012 was a pleasant year. Moved around a lot, sacrificed comfort for finance, and bought my first home.
It was an exciting and stressfull year looking for a home and finally settling down in October.  My fiance worked hard on remodelig the home and I worked hard and choosing the style for the home. All that's left to do is decorating and making the home stylishly us.

Happy to have survived 2012 in good health and with great people

Gizmo

For our 4 year anniversary we got a french bulldog: Gizmo!

I didn't think I'd have enough love to share, but it's amazing how love can grow endlessly. I am learning to love both my puppies and share time with them equally.
Being a mom the second time around makes me understand why women change with babies in their lives. I'm learning from mistakes and learning how to be less self fish.

2011 Recap

2011 Recap: What a fun and sad year!

Love and I traveled a lot in 2011 - mainly because he plays paintball and go picked up by a Hawaiian team (love went to Hawaii w/out me). Love won his first national paintball event - hard work and passion pays off. I'm so proud of him and will help him become pro one day.
Places we visited: Huntington Beach, CA; Chicago, IL; Washington DC; Las Vegas;
Waukesha, WI

Job wise I have been promoted and still at the same job. I'm good at what I do and would like a increase in income :)

Nov 2011 we discovered my nephew has cancer. He's only 1 years old, poor baby going through the pain and chemo. My mom and dad are most effected by my nephew's cancer. My mom is an extremely loving grandmother who handles most of my nephew's medical forms and doctor visits. I pray my brother's little family will learn to live better lives with his son's cancer.

Ending of 2011 was a rocky year emotionally with the death of 3 family members in Nov-Dec on top of my nephew's cancer. This scares me as the adults around me continue to age. It'll be hard without my great-grandma, great-uncle, and uncle here on earth, but we'll learn to continue living.

As the funeral ceremonies and year came to an end, I finally was able to celebrate my birthday. My then-boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed at my birthday party and after 3 1/2 years, we are engaged. I'm thankful for my parents and friends who were there to share and witness our happiness with us.
2011 started off well but ended badly. I'm nervous to see what 2012 will bring.
