2014 Wedding Accomplished. 2014 Goals

2014 started out well with our wedding. Wedding was successful, a few kinks but overall perfect. Lots of guests from WI and FL. Words can not express how thankful and loved we feel for the wonderful people surrounding and supporting us. We shed tears as we opened gifts from family and friends. They gave us way too much and we feel like we have not done enough for them. We cherish our loved ones as they all have a part in our life. Our goals this year: 1. TRAVEL! Foodie and pubs and seeing new places/things. NY, Orlando, Portland, San Diego (and Hawaii in Jan 2015). 2. Watch lots and lots of movies! 3. Attend carnivals/county fairs. 4. Remodeling our kitchen. On a sad note, I lost a college aquaintance to stroke. She was a kind hearted, smart, beautiful woman. Words can not express how she has touched so many classmate's lives. May we live well with our health and find happiness in all aspect of life. Never take life for granted and take a chance at what we want or don't know that we want in life :). Also never say never. I said I'd never play tennis, well here I am loving the sport. I said I'd never be a supervisor, where here I am managing staff. Life is the choices we make and the opportunities we take.

2013 Recap

2013 was wedding planning year. Wedding planning was a part-time job gathering ideas, finding vendors and materials. Decisions all made in due time. There was no time or money to travel in 2013. 2013 was all work, very little play. Snow was plenty, but the cold stopped us from going skiing/snowboarding. What a drag this cold has been. Didn't do much to the house in 2013. Love started on parkour, we both continued archery and focused on our health. Good thing to 2013 was I got a promotion and count down to our wedding in 2014. Almost forgot, my friend's baby Ian was born 11/24/13! OMG I forgot I went to Hawaii with my good friend DC!!! It was warm weather and beautiful skies all 5 days. I'm going back there in a coupld of years. Loved it but will not live there - love the city life.
